“How do I get more back links?”
This is a question I’m asked quite often. Well there’s probably a million ways if you use your imagination! One (fairly) quick and easy way to get links to your site is by blog Commenting.
What’s a blog comment anyway?
At the end of each article or page of a bog there is an area where you can leave a comment that looks something like this:

- The first field you see is “Name:” This is where you want to include your Keywords. Note: If you Stuff your name with keywords there is a good chance your post might get deleted, so be sensible.
- Simply fill out the rest, your email, URL and of course, your Comment.
Each comment gives you a clickable link to your site , Which is a “vote” for your site in googles eyes, and will increase your ranking. A warning first… There exists both ethical and non ethical blog commenting methods. Non Ethical would be anything that could be considered SPAM. If you have to ask yourself “Could this comment be considered SPAM?”, it probably is, and I suggest not doing it. This includes but is not limited to, posting irrelevant or useless comments just to get a link, and posting a ton of comments with blatant and irrelevant anchor text. Example: If you posted a comment on a blog about President Obama’s latest speech, and link to your online shoe store, using “Buy shoes online” as your name…. Most would consider that unethical, don’t to it. In this case, assuming your comment is relevant to the article you could change your anchor text to your company name. Or if you want to keep that anchor text, try finding a blog similar in content, a blog about shoes or even fashion would be more appropriate. Not all comments are equal, some will help you out more than others . Comments coming from sites similar in content are of the most benefit. If a related site links back to yours this will be a much more valuable link than one from an unrelated website. If you have a hard time finding related sites, try to make sure that the post you are placing a comment on is related to your website. Be careful though, when you link back to your website do not stuff keywords in the link titles. In most cases your name is what links back to your website. Don’t stuff keywords in there or make it seem unnatural because these kinds of techniques would end up hurting you. There are a lot of ways to build links to your site, and blog commenting is one quick and easy way. Stay tuned for more….

Nice article Doug! I was wondering if posting in any blog will be a good backlink. There are some blogs I have posted in that have NOTHING to do with window cleaning and I notice google lists that blog in the links in my google webmaster tools. And other blogs that ARE associated with window cleaning and I can’t seem to find that listed. But your right blog commenting is the way to get a few back links. Just make sure that the blog comment is more than a few words like. “nice article” Window Cleaning Frisco TX(Quote)

Good tip there Doug. One question; will linking to more than one blog on the same site have any affect? Or should you be aiming for one comment per blog ‘site’. Window Cleaning Tips & Tricks(Quote)
Hey Window Cleaning Tips- You can definitely comment on multiple articles or pages on the same site, in fact that’s encouraged.
It looks natural to google that way (most people who post on a certain blog, do so on a regular basis) Page1(Quote)

Yeah, the closer in content the blog is to your site the better. But with window cleaning that can be difficult to find. Local blogs are good to. If you are trying to rank for “Dallas window cleaning” you could post on blogs about Dallas as well. Doug(Quote)
Great point Doug I will look for local blogs that fit
the region that I want to be in. Dallas is alright but those
surrounding areas are much better like Plano, Frisco, and McKinney Window Cleaning Frisco TX(Quote)
